Super Gel-X: Super
Gel-X is produced from the highest grade sodium bentonite. This easy
mixing, high viscosity, 200-bbl. yield drilling fluid is ideal for
all types of fresh water drilling. It mixes quickly and easily, reduces
solids while increasing lifting power, removes cuttings, cools and
lubricates the bit, and helps prevent loss of circulation while stabilizing
boreholes. Recommended dosage for normal conditions is 15-25 lbs./100 gals. water. Packaging is 50 lb. bags. Insta-Vis Plus is a versatile liquid
polymer designed to improve viscosity as well as inhibit hydration
of watersensitive shale
and clay formations. This high molecular weight, quickly-dispersing
polymer is ideal for sticky and swelling conditions. Insta-Vis
Plus reduces torque and offers rapid viscosity development in fresh
water. Recommended dosage is 0.5-2 qt./100 gals. Packaging is 5 gal. pails. Insta-Vis
Dry: Designed for the driller who prefers a dry, easy-mixing
polymer, Insta-Vis Dry is ideal for sticky and swelling clays
and shales.
Insta-Vis Dry is a highly concentrated, anionic polymer that
stabilizes the borehole, increases rate of penetration, and inhibits
clay and shale hydration while improving cohesion in sandy soil. Rel-Pac: To
combat coarse soils and unconsolidated formations, CETCO offers
Rel-Pac, a natural cellulosic polymer. Designed for building
a low solids drilling fluid with increased borehole stability,
Rel-Pac forms a tight, thin filter cake that reduces fluid loss
into the formation. It is a granular, highly dispersible, non-fermenting
polymer that provides filtration control in fresh or salt water
conditions. Suspend-IT is a dry biopolymer used to increase suspension of drilling cuttings in difficult formations. Highly dispersible, Suspend-IT enhances gel strength without significantly increasing viscosity to allow easy transportation of cuttings on long bores. Drill-Terge: CETCOÕs
premier drilling detergent and wetting agent, Drill-Terge, is a liquid
solution of non-ionic surfactants formulated to increase the detergency
and wetting properties of drilling fluids. Easy-mixing Drill-Terge
is designed to work in fresh or salt water and to reduce torque and
drag associated with drilling in swelling clays. It promotes the
settling of clays at the reserve pit and keeps the drill bit clean
by preventing bit balling. Recommended dosage is 2-3 qts./100 gals. drilling fluid. Packaging is 5 gal. pails or 55 gal. drums. |
